The Norwegian Diabetes Association recently published an article in their magazine“Diabetes” about the EU funded project FORGETDIABETES where Lifecare and academic partners in Italy, Germany and France aim to develop a bionic invisible pancreas. In the article the General Secretary of the Norwegian Diabetes Association, Mr. Bjørnar Allgot, and Prof. Dr. Pål Rasmus Njøstad, who recieved the Norwegian Diabetes Association Research Prize 2017, both express interest for the project as they also point out the technology and development risk included.
